we're finally done with our car shopping. we ended up with a 2007 Subaru B9Tribeca. Robin is pretty uncomfortable these days so she didn't make the trip to the dealer this time. i made the final purchase with Marc there as my enforcer. by the time i got it home last night it was dark so we'll hopefully take some pictures tonight and post them. for now i'll post these pictures from the dealership's website.
EDIT: it took me 9 days but i finally got pictures taken. these below will replace the previous pictures.
here's the inevitable belly shot - I know you've all been dying to see my giant growing mid-section! (I included the bare-belly one to show just how HUGE I am!!) I am feeling large & in charge...but great. baby is still very active, but has "dropped" - which is encouraging. I am struggling with swollen feet and getting comfy while sleeping, but nothing I can't handle. trust me, I've done my fair share of complaining, but I feel pretty lucky to have had a fairly uncomplicated pregnancy. the nursery is basically ready and the diaper bag is all packed with both a boy & girl outfit. we'll have to wait to see which one gets to be the lucky "coming home from the hospital outfit." which, by the way, kyle didn't know was needed and allowed me to go pick out with assistance from auntie beth! we had such fun shopping!! I threw in some pictures of tinker & tessie lounging on the couch with me...they are excited for the baby too! I will keep everyone posted on my progress and let you know when I finally go into labor. we're in the home stretch!!!
sorry this took me a bit to get downloaded and posted. we've been busy getting everything ready for baby k's impending arrival! however I had to post about the great shower thrown by my sister-in-law, jen, and my two cousins, tressa & brie. they are all so creative and crafty...they came up with some fun and unique ways to remember the day. each person wrote a special message for the baby for a scrapbook and then drew/wrote on a white square of fabric that brie is going to sew into a quilt! we enjoyed lots of yummy sweet treats as well :) I was so glad to have the chance to sit and chat with my great family and friends. they definitely showered us with too many beautiful gifts...we are so blessed! I just wanted to post some pictures to show the wonderful time we had. thanks ladies!!
some of you may be aware that Robin's sister Nykkole is having surgery today. for more details you can head over to her CaringBridge site. let's keep our fingers crossed that everything goes well for her.
