world's best job

there are plenty of jobs I'd like to try my hand at. but none of them would ever be as fulfilling, rewarding, or difficult as being a mom. I'm constantly trying to make sure that I'm making the best choices I can make as a parent. I try hard to keep the over-analyzing to a minimum and not be too hard on myself when those moments come when I know the mom-of-the-year-award is certainly not going to be awarded to me. I am content knowing that I'm doing the very best I can. after all, I've gotten to learn from watching some of the most amazing moms this world has ever known.

I'm still not sure what kyle and I did to have been blessed with these gifts...and they are definitely gifts. I read a quote the other day that said "children are made by mommy and daddy, but created by god." how true.

so I thank Him for blessing me with the job of motherhood and I gladly take on all of the responsibilities that come with such an amazing title. for at the end of the day, I am the one who gets to proclaim that I am their mommy.
